f) Crossfading/mixing
• You can use the crossfader (12) to crossfade/mix between the signals of two channels.
• Use the two CROSSFADER ASSIGN controls (10) to select the desired channels.
• When the crossfader (12) is activated, one channel is faded out while the other channel is faded in. In centre
position, both fader channels are played equally.
• To modify the control characteristics of the crossfader, put the switch for crossfader control characteristics (11)
in the desired position.
Left position:
The channels are faded in or out abruptly. The control travel in which both channels have the same volume is
long.
Right position:
The channels are faded in or out softly. The control travel in which both channels have the same volume is short.
g) Using the DJ microphone
• Set the input level and the sound of the microphone input MIC (2) as described above under „Volume control".
• Press the TALKOVER switch (5) to make an announcement.
• The DJ microphone signal is switched to the master output. The volume of the other channels is reduced.
h) Playback from the computer
• Set the input selection switch of CH-3 to USB.
• On the computer, start playback with your audio software.
If necessary, the USB output on the computer has to be configured as an audio output (see the
documentation of your operating system or your audio software).
• The USB interface is treated like a common analogue audio input.
