14. Troubleshooting
If there is an overfl ow
Condensation or Milk in
Tubing
No "Let-Down" or
Breastmilk Expression
If you have not resolved the problem with your breastpump or your have further questions,

1. Place the pump set into the bottle holder.
2. Turn off the pump and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Use a damp (not wet) cloth to wipe the pump and membrane area.
4. If there is milk in the tubing:
Remove tubing, protective membrane and membrane cap and clean in
accordance with Section 7. Shake out any drops of water from the tubing
and hang up the tubing to dry or let the pump run with tubing attached for 1–2
minutes or until dry.
If there is condensation in the tubing:
Let the pump run with tubing attached for 1–2 minutes or until dry.
5. When components are completely dry, reassemble breastpump and accessories
set.
• Turn off the pump and unplug from power source.
• Use a damp (not wet) cloth to wipe the pump.
• Refer to cleaning instructions "Tubing Cleaning" Section 7.
• If necessary, clean the pump kit.
• When components are completely dry, reassemble breastpump and kit.
• Ensure your breastpump kit is assembled correctly and suction is available.
• Relax and take a 10-15 minute break, if let down is not achieved after 2
consecutive pumping sessions.
• Consult with a healthcare or lactation professional if expression does not occur.
