Assists in initiating and maintaining

lactation in breastpump-dependent
mothers of premature infants.
The Preemie + Initiation Card contains
•
both pumping programs.
Preemie + 1.0:
•
Program for the immediate post-
natal period until initiation of milk
production. Then use the Standard
program. The Preemie
runs uninterrupted for 15 minutes
and comprises a sequence of
various stimulation, expression and
pause phases. "Done" appears in
the display when the program is
complete.
• Standard 2.0:
Use after initiation of milk production.
Initiation is reached once three
consecutive pumping sessions
totalling 20 mL of breastmilk (from
both breasts combined) is reached.
Includes "2-Phase Expression",
starting with the stimulation phase
and followed by the expression
phase.
