14.6.3 Water collection rail

markings. If the water volume is too low, you might not be
able to start the steaming process or you will need to add
additional water after a brief period of time. If there is too
much water, water can squirt into the cooking space.
► If the water level drops to less than a certain level during the
steaming process, the device stops temporarily and emits an
acoustic warning signal. The Steaming function symbol
blinks at the same time, to point out that water has to be
added. There might be a slight time delay before this occurs,
to prevent burns due to hot steam. Open the lid carefully and
add an appropriate volume of water. Then close the lid and
wait until the sensor recognizes the water level. Then you
can press START, to continue the process for the remaining
cooking time.
Before using the steaming function, stop and check that the
water collection rail is attached to the device.
