Operating mode "Dampfgaren" Steaming

In this operating mode, your food is cooked gently. Place the
drip pan in the bottom of the device to collect any water or other
liquids. You slide the wire grate into the cooking chamber at the
halfway point in the oven. Place your food onto it , so that it can
be completely surrounded by the steam. For more information,
please refer to the table on the next page.
Selecting the steam cooking function
Press the button Dampf/Mikro (1) Steam / Microwave once to
select the steaming program.
Setting the cooking time
Set the cooking time by turning the control dial
Zeit/Menü/Gewicht (6) Time/Menu/Weight.
Starting the cooking program
Press the control dial on the device (Button Start (6)) after
having selected the program, to start the cooking program you
have set.
End of the cooking program
Once the end of the cooking time is reached, END will appear
in the display.
► Fill fresh water into the tank for every steaming procedure
and drain the tank and the water rail at the end of every
cooking procedure.
► Check the float before every operation. It must move easily.
► It is absolutely forbidden to remove the water tank during
steaming or to open the lid. CAUTION: To prevent
burns/scalding, allow the water to cool down completely
before removing it!
► In the event that the water level drops to below a certain fill
level while steaming is underway, the device will stop
temporarily and emit acoustic warning signals. The
Steaming function symbol will blink at the same time to point
out that it is necessary to refill the water. There may be a
slight delay before this occurs, in order to prevent any burns
due to the hot steam. Open the lid carefully and top up with
