c) Programming the Neutral Position
Important!
If the speed controller is not programmed with the enclosed remote control, but with a different one (e.g.
computer transmitter), the set paths for the throttle control must be set to 100%. These set values also must
not be limited (dual rate must be deactivated). A possibly present "ABS function" (programmed, e.g., for the
brake in model cars) must be deactivated.
• Switch on the transmitter. Pull the throttle lever into the full throttle position and hold it there.
• Connect the drive battery to the speed controller (the throttle lever is still in the "full throttle" position). Two short
signal sounds are emitted after approx. two seconds. The full throttle position has been recognised.
• Put the throttle lever in the neutral position "no throttle" (motor off) immediately after the two sounds. A single sound
is emitted that signals successful programming of the neutral position (motor off). You may disconnect the driving
battery from the speed controller again now or start to drive.
If the neutral position is programmed by the speed controller at a panel transmitter that has no middle posi-
tion on the throttle lever, proceed as just described to programme the neutral position. For this, you only
need to pull the throttle lever back all the way for the "Motor off" position. This would make it impossible to
programme or perform reverse driving anymore.
