Starting heating
f Turn the temperature selector clockwise to the required

temperature.
When the set room temperature has been reached, the appliance
switches off. The temperature controller switches the appliance on
again automatically when the set room temperature is undershot.
The set room temperature is kept constant.

Stopping heating
f Turn the temperature selector fully anti-clockwise.

f Pull the plug from the power socket.

Frost protection
f Turn the temperature selector to the frost symbol.

If the room temperature falls below the frost protection temper-
ature, the temperature controller switches the appliance on au-
tomatically.

Standard mode
f Set the rocker switch to "standard operation".

Operation with the time switch
The 24-hour time switch has 96 time segments. Every hour is
divided into 4 time segments of 15 minutes. By pressing down
individual time segments, you can define the times when the ap-
pliance heats automatically.
f Set the rocker switch to "operation with time switch".
f
Set the current time:
Note
During commissioning and after any power interruption,
you must set the time switch to the current time.
f Turn the time switch clockwise until the marker arrow points
f
to the current time.
Set the heating time:
f Turn the temperature selector clockwise to the required
f
temperature.
f Press down the time segments for the required heating
f
times. Red markings will become visible, indicating the
preselected period during which the appliance will heat
automatically.

When the set room temperature is reached during the defined
heating time, the appliance switches off. The temperature con-

troller switches the appliance on again automatically when the set
room temperature is undershot. The selected room temperature
is kept constant until the set heating time expires.

This process is repeated daily. You can adjust the heating time

whenever you like.

Cleaning, care and maintenance
The appliance contains no user serviceable parts.
Material losses
- Never spray cleaning spray into the air slot.
- Ensure that no moisture can enter the appliance.
- If a pale brownish discolouration appears on the appliance
casing, wipe it off with a damp cloth.
- Clean the appliance when cold with ordinary cleaning prod-
ucts. Avoid abrasive or corrosive cleaning products.
