OPERATION
Operation
Example:
You would like your bathroom to be heated to the required tem-
perature by 07:00 h.
f On day one, activate the 24 h automatic function at 07:00 h.
f
The appliance will activate the boost function immediately. The
next day, the boost function automatically starts at 06:15 h in order
to heat up the bathroom for 07:00 h.
Interrupting
You can interrupt the boost function at any time without changing
the start time.
f Hold down the boost function button for approximately
f
5 seconds.
The heating indicator flashes twice rapidly.
On the following day the boost function will start again at the
usual start time.
Deactivating
f Hold down the boost function button and press the ON/OFF
f
button twice.
The heating indicator flashes slowly 3-times.
Changing the start time
f Hold down the boost function button and press the ON/OFF

button twice.
The heating indicator flashes slowly 3-times. The 24 h automatic
function is disabled.
f Re-activate the 24 h automatic function at the required start

time. Hold down the boost function button and press the ON/
OFF button twice.

Frost protection
The appliance features a frost protection function to ensure that
the room temperature does not fall below 6 °C during a prolonged
period of absence.
f To enable the frost protection function, leave the appliance on

and turn the temperature selector to the frost protection setting.

Operation within a DHW/central heating system

Only operate the direct heater rod when the radiator has
been filled.
Winter mode
The DHW/central heating system is running. You can control the
appliance temperature via the thermostatic valve installed on site.
Summer mode
When the DHW/central heating system is off the appliance is op-
erated via an integral electric direct heater rod. You can start the
boost and the 24 h automatic function via the user interface.

f Close the thermostatic valve installed on site.

Shutting down
f Switch the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF button for

f Pull the mains plug out of the wall socket.

f If you are operating the appliance within a hot water heating

system, close the thermostatic valve installed on site.

Childproofing
To prevent any unwanted appliance operation, you can lock the
temperature selector or limit its setting range.
f Turn the temperature selector to the required setting.

f Lever off the temperature selector using a small screwdriver.
