6. Installation
• First mark the assembly position at the wall with the attachment holes of the wall holder if you
need to drill holes for attachment of the wall holder.
A suffi ciently sized hole may also have to be drilled for leading through the connection cable.
When drilling, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged.
Select the assembly site so that it is protected from manipulation attempts at the camera.
The camera therefore should be installed at a minimum height of 2.5 m.
• Either guide the connection cable from the wall holder on the side or push it through a present
hole in the wall where you want to install the wall holder.
Protect the plugs from dust and dirt, e.g. with a small plastic bag.
If the connection cable is too short (depending on wall thickness or assembly position, use a
suitable connection box that must be installed near the camera.
This connection box must be suitable for assembly in the outdoor area depending on assembly
site of the camera. The cable connection for the video output or the power supply can then be
placed in the connection box; this also applies to the housing with the setting button in the
camera cable.
Place the cables so that they are protected from manipulation, e.g. in a cable duct or simi-
lar.
• Screw the wall holder to the wall with the camera installed. Use suitable screws and, if required,
dowels, to match the wall.
• To adjust the camera position, loosen the fastening screws of the wall holder a bit with the
enclosed hexagon wrench. Adjust the camera position as desired and tighten the screws again.
