j) Setting Function "PRIVACY"
You can cover up to 8 image areas with a rectangle (8 different colours can be selected), so that
they are invisible.
This is done to protect sensitive areas from monitoring or recording, e.g. the workplace of an em-

First switch on the function. If you push the button only briefl y as usual, you can perform the fol-
lowing settings:
"AREA SEL"
Select one of the 8 image areas (1/8......8/8).
The sliders „TOP", „BOTTOM", „LEFT" and „RIGHT" can be used to draw a rec-
tangle.
"COLOR"
Set the colour of the rectangle; 8 different colours are available. Observe that
the colours are displayed as grey tones in black/white display of the camera
image (e.g. at night)!
"TRANSP"
Set the rectangle transparency here. The rectangle is not transparent at a
setting of „1.00".
"MOSAIC"
If „TRANSP" is set to a value below „1.00", the image may also be displayed
falsifi edly if you select „ON".
The image area selected for „AREA SEL" is applied with a mosaic pattern. This
still shows when something moves in the image area, but no details are vis-
ible.

brightness.
