6. Installation
• First disconnect the mounting ring and the holding ring from the surveillance camera. For this, release the
two small grub screws in the holding ring so that the mounting ring and the holding ring can be removed
from the surveillance camera.
• Mark the corresponding positions through the three attachment holes of the mounting ring if you need to
drill any holes to attach the mounting ring.
You must drill a sufficiently sized hole as well to pass through the connection cable for invisible and
sabotage-proof placement.
When drilling or tightening screws, ensure that no present cables or lines are damaged.
Select the mounting site so that it is protected from attempts to manipulate the surveillance
camera. The surveillance camera therefore should be installed at a minimum height of 2.5 m.
• Either guide out the connection cable from the side of the mounting ring or push it through a present hole
in the wall where you want to screw on the mounting ring.
Protect the plugs from dust and dirt, e.g. with a small plastic bag.
If the connection cable is too short (depending on the wall thickness or mounting position), you
need to use a suitable connection box. This connection box must be suitable for being mounted
outdoors, depending on mounting site of the camera.
The cable connection for the video output or the power supply can then be placed in the connec-
tion box; this also applies to the housing with the control lever in the surveillance camera cable.
Place the cables so that they are protected from manipulation, e.g. in a cable duct or similar.
• Put the surveillance camera onto the mounting ring and then push on the holding ring. Align the camera
accordingly and tighten the three small grub screws in the holding ring so that the holding ring and the
camera are fastened at the mounting ring.
