EN OPERATION

CURING WITH THE MACHINE

When the Eco−UVC or Eco−UVI floor coatings
have relaxed for a minimum of 8 minutes, push
the machine to the area of the floor that you are
going to cure. Start on an end where you can
have the electrical cord trail behind you without it
dragging on any of the uncured floor. It is helpful
if an assistant holds the cord until enough of the
floor is cured to allow the cord to drag behind.
The primary lights cure the floor coating. The
side lights are used only on the "wet" or "uncured"
edge to reduce the risk of a visible cure line. Only
one side light can be used at a time.
1. Plug the supplied power cord into a properly
grounded wall outlet.
FOR SAFETY: Do not operate machine unless
power cord is properly grounded and with any
additional cords longer than 15 m (50 ft) plus
the existing machine cord for a maximum of
30 m (100 ft). All cords must be at least a 14
gauge / 3 wire cord.
WARNING: Hazardous voltage. Do not
operate with damaged power cord. Do
not modify plug. Unplug power cord
before servicing machine.

2. Place the machine over a floor that is not
carpeted. (The UV lights could damage the
carpeting if left in one spot over a period of
time).
3. Turn on the primary lights and allow them to
warm up for about 3 minutes.
NOTE: If the machine has just been unplugged,
the lights must be cooled for about 5 minutes
before they will come on again.
4. Turn the side light down towards the floor on
the side of the machine that will be facing the
"wet" or "uncured" edge.

CAUTION: Ultraviolet (UV) exposure
may cause eye damage. Do not operate
without wearing UVA−UVB protective
safety glasses. Do not look into UV
source.
