First, after undoing the locking screw,
Item 3, screw the pressure piece, Item 2, of
the coupler out of the plug sleeve, Item 17,
and pull the insert parts, Items 4-6, 21, out of
the plug sleeve, Item 17,backwards.

Thread the ends of the wires of the
connection cable, that have been stripped for
env. 8 mm (see also page 16), through the
pressure piece, Item 2, the strain relief, Item
4, the seal, Item 5, and the thrust washer
(screen clamp), Item 6.

Insert a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver
2.5x75) in the spring terminal release, Item
22, and then push the connection wires into
the open spring terminal, Item 23 (see Detail
Z).

When the tool (screwdriver) is
removed, pressure is applied to the spring
and the connection wire, thus establishing the

electrical contact between the connection
wire and the plug pin.

washer/screen clamp, Item 6, the seal, Item
5, and the strain relief, Item 4, together with
the connected plug insert, Item 21, into the
plug sleeve in the correct position.
Warning: When assembling the plug,
ensure that the plug insert is positioned
correctly in relation to the plug sleeve

2, back onto the plug sleeve, Item 17, until the
seal and strain-relief become effective (see
Technical Data for test torque) and secure
with locking screw, Item 3.
Proceed in the reverse order to disconnect
(see also Fig. 7, A-E).
