In order to guarantee safe contact making
when using QUICKON® terminals, always
use the cables specified in the technical
product data.
The wires of the connection cables must
not be stripped.
Ensure that the contact part of a wire that
has already been used once is cut off.
When using new cables, always use the
same conductor cross section.

Connection in acc. with Fig. 6, A-G (page
24)
1.
First, after undoing the locking screw,
Item 3, screw the pressure piece, Item 2, of
the plug out of the plug sleeve, Item 17, and
pull the insert parts, Items 4-6, 18+19, out of
the plug sleeve backwards.
2.
After having removed ca. 30mm of
the cable sheath, (see also page 16), thread
the connection cable through the pressure
piece, Item 2, the strain relief, Item 4, the seal,
Item 5, and the thrust washer (screen clamp),
Item 6.
3.
Then feed the individual wires through
the marked wire guides of the splicing ring,
Item 19, and the ends cut off flush at the front
of the ring, Item 19.
4.
To assemble, press the splicing ring,

Warning: When assembling the plug,
ensure that the key of the QUICKON®
insert is positioned correctly in relation to
the keyway of the splicing ring.
5.
Now screw the pressure piece, Item
2, back onto the plug sleeve, Item 17, until the
seal and strain-relief become effective (see
Technical Data for test torque) and secure
with locking screw, Item 3.
When the pressure piece is screwed tight,
correct contact between the plug pins and
the connection cable is made at the
QUICKON® connection.
Proceed in the reverse order to disconnect
(see also Fig. 6, A-G).
