1.
First, together with the insulating
sleeve, Item 7, push the socket insert, Item
10, forwards out of the plug sleeve, Item 1.
2. Remove the plug pins from the
packaging and then, using the special
crimping tool (available under Order No. GHG
5901902 R0001). crimp the stripped ends of
the connection wires (ca. 8 / 5mm) of the
connection cable onto the contact sockets,
Item 9, and the PE connection lug, Item 9,
(previously removed from the socket insert,
Item 10).
Optionally, these contact socket connections
can be soldered on. The soldered joint shall
be protected additionally with a shrink-on
sleeve.
3.
After having crimped / soldered on
the connection cable, push the contact
sockets into the flange socket insert insert,
Item 10, from the back until reaching the stop
(with normal manual strength in consideration
to hexagon guide). Then place the insulating
sleeve over it in the correct position.

Assembly of the 4-pole flange socket as for
5-pole version, but without PE clamp, Item 9.

Warning: Once they have been pushed
into the flange socket insert, the contact
sockets cannot be dismantled again.
4. Now the insulating sleeve, Item 7, can
be pushed into the correct position over the
connection cable and onto the socket insert,
Item 10.
5. Now press the PE lug into the recess
in the socket insert and push it into the
groove on the front of the socket insert until it
engages.
6. Finally, push the complete flange
socket insert, connection lead first, through
the flange socket sleeve, Item 1, from the
front and press it in the correct position until it
engages (see also Fig. 5, A-E).
The flange sockets may only be used in
enclosures in the type of protection Ex-e.
