5-pole (4+PE) / 4-pole (3+PE), GHG 57.
6.2.1.2 Coupler (Ex-e)–Moulded plastic/
Metal
5-pole (4+PE)
Connection in acc. Fig. 4, A-H (page 19-20)
1.
First, after undoing the locking screw,
Item 3, the pressure piece, Item 2, of the
coupler sleeve, Item 1, is screwed out of the
plug sleeve, Item 17, and the insert parts,
Items 4-10, are pulled out backwards out of
the plug sleeve.
2.
Push the stripped connection wires of
the connection cable (ca. 8 / 5mm) into the
connection opening of the contact sockets,
Item 8, or into the PE connection lug, Item 9,
and crimp them on using the special crimping
tool (available under Order No. GHG 5901902
R0001).
Optionally, these contact socket connections
can be soldered on. The soldered joint shall
be protected additionally with a shrink-on
sleeve.
3.
After having crimped / soldered on
the connection cable, push the coupler insert
parts and the pressure piece onto the
connection cable.

In order to get a perfect function of the
plug, you use also the not occupied pins.
4.
Then push the connected contact
sockets into the borehole of the coupler
insert, Item 10, from the rear until reaching the
stop (with normal manual strength and in
consideration to hexagon guide) and push
the insulating sleeve, Item 7, over it up. Now
press the PE lug into the recess in the
coupler insert and push it into the groove on
the front of the plug insert until it engages (see
also Figs. A-H).
Warning: Once the contact sockets have
been pushed into the coupler insert, the
contact sockets cannot be dismantled again.
5.
Now the coupler insert parts can be
pushed back again in the correct positions
into the coupler sleeve, Item 1, from the rear,
the pressure piece, Item 2, can be screwed
on until the seal and strain-relief become
effective (see Technical Data for test torque)
and locked with the locking screw, Item 3.
