GLASS rEPLACEmENT
CARE MUST BE TAkEN WHEN REMOvINg AND DISpOSINg OF ANY BROkEN DOOR gLASS OR

1. When the appliance is cool, open the door and place the door
frame down careful not to scratch the paint.
2. remove the screws and brackets holding the glass in place.
remove all broken glass.
3. Wrap the edges of the new glass with a u-shaped strip of
fiberglass gasket, covering 1/4" (6 mm) on each side.
4. Place the glass with the fiberglass gasket in position and replace
the brackets and screws. When finished, you should be able to
move the glass slightly, horizontally and vertically.

INSuLATION INSErT rEPLACEmENT
At the end of each burning season inspect the fire box door fibre insulation for deterioration or breakage. re-
place if necessary.
1. When the appliance is cool, open the door and place the door
frame down careful not to scratch the paint.
2. remove the screws , spacers and pins holding the heat shield
on. remove the heat shield.
3. remove the screws and brackets holding the insert in place.
remove the insert.
4. Wrap the edges of the new insert with a "u" shaped strip of fiber-
glass gasket, covering ¼" (6 mm) on each side.
5. Place the insert with the fiberglass gasket in position and replace the
brackets and screws. When finished you should be able to move
the insert slightly, horizontally and vertically.
6. Position the heat shield on the fire box door and replace the spac-
ers, screws and pins.
