4 Familiarising yourself with your appliance

Touch fields are touch-sensitive surfaces. To select a function, touch the relevant field.

Use
Switch the appliance on and off.
Select the microwave power levels or switch on the microwave func-
tion for a type of heating.
Call up the selection of types of heating.
Call up the selection of automatic programmes.
Select set the temperature and weight.
Press and hold: Activate or deactivate the childproof lock.
Activate or deactivate rapid preheating.

The settings area functions like a scroller. Swipe left or
right with your finger to change the setting. The faster
you swipe, the faster the scroller will move. Tap on the
scroller to stop it and select an exact setting.
In selection lists, e.g. programmes, the first selection
follows the last.
For values, e.g. weight, return to the settings area when
you reach the minimum or maximum value.
