1. Important Safeguards
• Read all these instructions prior to first use.
• Do not let children near the Micro Pressure Cooker when in use.
• Do not put the Micro Pressure Cooker in a heated oven or on
the stovetop.
• When under pressure, do not remove the Micro Pressure
Cooker from your microwave until the standing time is over. Do
not touch hot surfaces. Use the side handles. Always use oven
gloves when handling your Micro Pressure Cooker.
• Do not use the Micro Pressure Cooker for a purpose other than
the one for which it is intended, meaning pressure cooking
in the microwave oven. Do not use this product for reheating
or cooking without pressure in the microwave oven or for the
conventional cooking in the oven.
• This appliance cooks under pressure. Scalds may result from
inappropriate use of the Micro Pressure Cooker. Make sure that
the Micro Pressure Cooker is properly closed before applying
power; see section "4.5 How to close your Micro Pressure
Cooker?".
• Never force to open the Micro Pressure Cooker. Do not open
before making sure that its internal pressure has completely
dropped. Check the pressure indicator as mentioned in section
"4.7 What to do with your Micro Pressure Cooker after
Microwave cooking?".
• Never use your Micro Pressure Cooker without adding liquids;
this will cause serious damage.
• Always fill the Micro Pressure Cooker at least up to 400ml,
indicated by the minimum (MIN) filling line.
• Do not fill the cooker beyond 2/3 of its capacity, indicated by the
maximum fill line. When cooking foods which expand during
cooking, such as rice or dehydrated vegetables, do not fill the
cooker to more than half of its capacity.
• Use the appropriate microwave setting according to section
"4.6 How to use your Micro Pressure Cooker in the
microwave oven?".
• After cooking meats with a skin (e.g. ox tongue) which may
swell under pressure, do not prick the meat while the skin is
swollen; you may get scalded.

• When cooking doughy food such as semolina or rice puddings,
gently shake the cooker before opening the cover to avoid food
ejection.
• Before each use, check that the gasket and valves are not
obstructed. See section "4.2 Check-up on daily use".
• Never use the Micro Pressure Cooker for deep or shallow frying.
• Do not tamper with any of the safety systems beyond the
maintenance instructions specified in section "4. How to use
your Micro Pressure Cooker?".
• Only use Tupperware's spare parts in accordance with the
relevant model. In particular, use a base and cover from
Tupperware that has been indicated as being compatible. Use
only the Tupperware gasket and valves made specifically for the
Micro Pressure Cooker.

2. Micro Pressure Cooker parts description (See fig. A):
The Micro Pressure Cooker consists of:
• Base (1) with a full capacity of 3L and a maximum usable
capacity of 2L.
• Cover (2) with bayonet closure to lock.
• Safety Lock Handle (3) prevents opening of the cover
while under pressure and avoids creating pressure when not
properly closed.
• Safety Lock Plug (4) to fully close the product.
• Pressure Regulator Valve (5) regulates the operating
pressure.
• Pressure Indicator Valve (6) with Pressure Indicator (7) that
also functions as a safety valve. When the pressure exceeds a
safety level then this valve will lift (for instance, if food blocks the
pressure regulator valve).
• Removable Silicone Cover Gasket (8).
