Safety instructions
The unit has been built and tested in accordance with the relevant protective measures for
electronic units and was free of safety defects when it left the factory. To ensure that this
remains the case and to guarantee safe operation, it is essential that the user observes the
instructions and warnings contained in this manual. If there is any cause to suspect that the
unit can no longer be operated free of hazard, the unit should be shut off and secured against
inadvertent operation.
It is the case when:

The unit shows visible signs of damage.
It appears that the unit is no longer functioning properly.

The unit has been stored for lengthy periods under unfavourable conditions.

The unit and its associated accessory components (e.g. electrodes, recording units etc.)
must be installed in accordance with the relevant safety provisions.
The installation site must be chosen such that the housing is not exposed to any major
mechanical loadings.
