The head and foot boards can be easily lifted off the bed for
foot boards
access to the patient.
catches (1) to prevent accidental removal. To unlock a board:
pull out the catches (2) and rotate them a quarter-turn (3); the
board can now be lifted off the bed.
Locking foot board (foot end shown in this example)
After replacing a board on the bed, rotate the catches until they
spring back into the locked position.
The head and foot boards can each be fitted with locking
