MACHINE SETUP

FILLING SOLUTION TANK

1. Transport the machine to a filling site (See
MACHINE OPERATION).
2. Stop the machine on a level surface and turn the
key to the OFF position.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface and turn off
machine.
NOTE: Check that the solution tank filter is installed
before filling. The filter is located at the rear of the
machine near the floor.
3. The solution tank is equipped with front and rear
filling ports for your convenience (Figure 3). Fill
the solution tank with 80 liters (21 gals.) of clean
water at 60C (140F) maximum temperature
(Figure 3).
The clear hose at the rear of machine indicates
the amount of water in solution tank (Figure 4).
NOTE: When filling solution tank with a bucket, make
sure that the bucket is clean. Do not use the same
bucket for filling and emptying the machine.

4. Pour a recommended cleaning detergent into the
solution tank according to the mixing instructions
on the bottle (Figure 5).
NOTE: As an alternative to mixing the cleaning
detergent in the solution tank, a pump- up sprayer can
be used to apply the cleaning detergent on the floor.
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, follow mixing
and handling instructions on chemical containers.
WARNING: Do Not Use Flammable Liquids Or
Operate Machine In Or Near Flammable Liquids,
Vapors Or Combustible Dusts.

ADJUSTING CONTROL GRIP HEIGHT

The machine has five control grip height settings.
To adjust, pull the console height trigger and lift or
lower the console to a comfortable operating height.
Release trigger to lock position (Figure 6).
