MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 80 Hours of Use)
1. Flush the pump system with an acetic acid
solution to dissolve normal alkaline chemical
buildup. Follow procedure below:
a. Position the machine over a floor drain.
b. Pour 11 liters (3 gal) of hot water into the
solution tank, do not exceed 60C (140F).
Pour 750 ml (24oz.) of an acetic acid into the
solution tank.
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, follow mixing
and handling instructions on chemical containers.
c. Operate the machine in the Deep Clean Mode
for 30 seconds. To keep the machine from
propelling forward, raise the brush base and
place a 16 inch 2x4 board centered under the
pickup vacuum shoe. Then lower the brush
base in order to lift the drive wheels off the
floor (Figure 33).

d. After operating the machine for 30 seconds,
shut off the power and let the machine set
overnight to allow the acetic acid solution to
breakdown the alkaline buildup.
e. Next day, disperse the remaining acetic acid
solution and rinse the solution system with 11
liters (3 gal) of clean water.
2. Disconnect the spray bar and twist out the six
quick-release spray tips. Soak the spray tips in an
