Sanding plate
Typical application: Sanding surfaces in
hard-to-access corners
1. Place the sanding plate (16) on the
tool mounting socket at any angle(see
Fig. K).
2. Place the washer (13) on to the
sanding plate with the domed side
facing up.
3. Tighten the hex socket screw with the
Allen key (11).
4. Place the sanding sheet (17)
accurately on the backup plate. Press
firmly into place to ensure that the
velcro is securely attached.
8 – Operation
Starting work
1. Make sure the power tool has been
properly prepared as described in
"Preparing the multifunction tool":
2. Connect the power tool to the mains
socket.
3. Switch on the extraction device.
4. Switch on the multifunction tool with
the on/off switch (1).
5. Adjust the speed using the speed
regulator (2) see (Fig. F). For low
speed oscillation set the speed
regulator to position 1 and for high
speed oscillation to position 6. Make
sure you adjust the correct speed for
the material being worked or
determine the correct speed by
performing tests.
6. Bring the power tool to the
workpiece. You can now work on the
workpiece.
Finishing work
1. Remove the multifunction tool from
the workpiece.
2. Switch off the multifunction tool with
the on/off switch (1).
3. Switch off the extraction device.
4. Pull out the plug.
9 – Cleaning and
maintenance
WARNING! Risk of burns! Some
of the tools get hot during
operation! Leave them to cool
completely before cleaning
NOTE: Short circuit hazard!
Water getting into the machine
housing can cause a short circuit
Never immerse the multifunction tool
in water. Take care to prevent water
entering the machine.
NOTE: Risk of damage! Improper
cleaning can damage the
machine and tool attachments. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents,
brushes with metal or nylon bristles,
knives, hard spatulas or other similar
sharp or metal cleaning tools.
After each use
1. Always pull the plug out of the socket
before starting cleaning.
2. Allow the machine to completely cool
down.
