MSA Start-up and Calibration
When supplying tubing to the environmental guard to allow remote HART calibra-
tion, gas should be delivered to both ports of the environmental guard from a
1.5 l/min regulator as shown in figure 15. Use PrimaX IR Calibration Kit #55 for the
tubing, regulator and Remote Hart screens shown below.

When used under windy conditions, a calibration cover must be used instead of the
environmental guard while applying the zero and span gas. See figure 16 for a pic-
ture of this cover. Gas should be applied at 1.5 l/min.
