Air filter maintenance
After operating for approximately 100 hours, the air filter must be cleaned. Clean as
follows:

Maintenance after use
1. If the appliance is not used for longer periods, make sure that the rubber stopper on
the bottom of the drainage opening has been removed to allow water to drain.
2. On a sunny day, run the appliance in fan mode for half a day to dry the inside of the
appliance and prevent mould growth.
3. Switch the appliance off, remove the power plug, remove the batteries from the
remote control and store safely.
4. Clean the air filter and reinsert.
5. Remove the exhaust hose, store safely, and cover the opening tightly.
1. Switch off the appliance, and remove the air filter.
First switch off the appliance, then pull the air filter backwards.
2. Clean the air filter and reinsert.
To remove stubborn dirt, wash the filter in a solution of detergent
in lukewarm water. After cleaning, dry in cool, shady place, and
then reinsert.
3. If the air conditioning unit is used in an extremely dusty envi-
ronment, clean the air filter every two weeks.
