2 General information

• Do not operate the appliance if the housing is visibly damaged, the connecting cable
is defective or if a defect is suspected.
• Only connect the appliance to the power supply if the voltage indicated on the rating
plate corresponds to the mains voltage.
• Wait at least three minutes between switching the appliance on and off.
• Check that the air filter is properly inserted before use. The appliance must not be
used without the filter.
• No liability can be accepted for possible damage if the appliance is used improperly
or incorrectly, or if it is not properly repaired or maintained.
• The appliance should be transported in an upright position as far as possible. After
moving, stand the appliance in an upright position for at least 10 hours before op-
erating.
• The appliance must not be installed or operated in vehicles.

3 Notes on operation

IMPORTANT:
Wait before you use at least 12 hours after unpacking the equipment it!
• The air conditioner must not be exposed to direct sunlight through a window.
• Doors and windows should be opened as little as possible to avoid the intake of
warm outside air.
