9 Care and cleaning

Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. Rub the housing down with a

damp cloth. Do not under any circumstances use cleaning solvent or other solvents or
abrasive cleaning agents to clean the plastic parts as they may damage the surface.
Regular cleaning and care can improve the functioning of the air conditioner under
optimal conditions.
Wash the filter in lukewarm water and very mild detergent, then rinse with clean, cold
water.Remove dust from the filter with a vacuum cleaner or a brush.
Remove the power plug from the power socket
• Before undertaking any cleaning or care
• Before installing or removing any parts
• Before moving the appliance
• If the appliance will not be used for longer periods
Never remove the plug from the socket with wet hands or by pulling on the cable.
Do not pull the power supply cable over sharp edges, and do not clamp it.
Only use proper extension leads.
