Digisystem, How to Use the Locator
2.7
Data Records
Memory & Communication (600i & 650i)
The 600i & 650i locators record and store information whilst they are in use. The locators
start to record information every second after completion of the initial start-up routine.
These records (logs) are stored in the locators memory and can be retrieved and transferred
via Bluetooth to a PC for analysis.
The locators are capable of storing 999 records (approximately 80 hours of use). These
records are sequentially stored, once the locator's memory is full the oldest records will be
overwritten.
A communication pack is available from an authorised supplier, enabling users to retrieve
the locators stored log files.
We recommend you to install and use the Bluetooth Adapter & Logicat Software provided
in the communication pack.
If the locator is paired to another Bluetooth device, for example a GPS Datalogger, whilst in
use, it will output the same ASCII text string as detailed in "2.6 Wireless Data Communica-
tion, where applicable".
