Digisystem, Functional Checks
1. Switch sonde on and activate 33kHz mode.
2. Set Locator to 33 kHz mode and aim at Sonde (see diagram).
3. At 2 m/6.56 ft the Locator must be at maximum.
4. Repeat this with Sonde and Locator in 8 kHz.

If any of these tests give no response or a significantly different response from
normal, the Sonde should be returned for service.
