A choice of English, German and French is available as the language
used on the PHM220 displays and printouts. Selection is made in the
Edit mode display.
1.
Connect the PHM220 to the mains.

Hold down the Mode key for approximately 4 seconds, the first
display you will see is Reset pH Method Yes or No . Press the
down arrow key to continue to the next display.
Select the Edit option CONFIGURATION using the left or right

Move to the language display by pressing the down arrow key.
5.
Using the left or right arrow key, select the language desired.

Setting the Date and Time

The PHM220 is fitted with an internal clock. The actual date and time
are entered in the Edit mode display. The time and date are displayed
when the Mode key is pressed and appear in printouts and in the GLP
table.
1.
After selecting the language, move to the Current Time display
by pressing the down arrow key twice.

The hour and minute can be adjusted in the two displays using the
left or right arrow key.
3.
Adjust the day, month and year in the Current Date displays
using the left or right arrow key.
Entering the Instrument ID
The instrument identification entered by the user in the Edit mode
display will appear at the top of all printouts.
1.
After entering the date, move to the Instrument ID display by
pressing the down arrow key.
2.
Using the left or right arrow key, enter the Instrument
identification. This is marked on the rear panel of the pH meter.
Note: If you adjust the two digits after "R" to "00" no ID will
appear.
Refer to "Edit CONFIGURATION" on page 42 for an overview
of all the above settings.
Leave the Edit mode by pressing the Mode key.
