In order to carry out a pH measurement AT INTERVALS, it is necessary to
select AT INTERVALS in Edit SAMPLE and enter the number of seconds or
minutes desired between each measurement and result printout. While
editing your measurement select whether you would like all your results,
only the last result or no results to be stored in the GLP table; refer to page
39, AT INTERVALS Measurements, for additional information.
During the measurement, you can accept the result manually and stop the
measurement by pressing the
automatically stop after the time entered for Stop Print After in
Edit SAMPLE. After stopping the measurement, the result will be transferred
to the GLP table (if selected) and it will be printed out. The PHM220 will
return to the Last Calibration display. Press
the time entered will now start from the beginning.
Note: If Stop Print After is different from zero, the display will show the
countdown (in minutes) before the end of printing. If Stop Print After is set
to zero, the display will show the countdown (in seconds) before the next
printing.

mV Measurements

mV measurements can be performed in three ways:
• Manually with a live mV reading on the display.
• Using the AUTOREAD function, which locks the mV result on the
display as soon as the signal is stable. Stability is defined by the
stability criterion set in Edit SAMPLE.
• AT INTERVALS; the mV value is measured continuously and printed
out at specific time intervals.
1.
Press the Mode key, select "mV" using the left or right arrow key.
2.
Rinse the electrode(s) and temperature sensor thoroughly with deion-
ised water and dab dry with soft tissue.
