Troubleshooting
A number of tests are automatically performed when the PHM220 is
switched on, during calibration and measurement. If an error is
detected, an error message will appear in clear text on the display.
The messages are listed below.

Error Messages
The pH/mV sample measurement is out of
range (L = low, H = high). The alarm limits
are defined by the user in the Edit mode;
refer to page 38. Press
The sample temperature is out of range.
The temperature alarm limits are defined by
the user in the Edit mode; refer to page 38.
Check the sample temperature.
Press
to continue.
The Cal key or the Mode key has been
pressed during a calibration.
Press the
key to start a new calibration or
any key to continue.
Last calibration older than the limit entered
in the Edit mode or no data stored in the
GLP table.
Press Cal to perform a new calibration.

The sample measurement lies outside the
pH calibration range: ± 2 pH.
The pH values of the buffers selected
should lie on either side of the expected pH
value of the sample.
Press the Cal key to start a new calibration.
