The PHM220 will now measure and await electrode signal
stability. The measurement can be followed by means of the
stability indicator.
Once stable, or after a preset time period, the pH value will be
locked on the display.
If the AUTOREAD function has been "inactivated" during editing,
accept the measurement by pressing the
stability seems acceptable. When the visual STABility indicator
shows "STAB" the measured stability is better than the stability
criterion set in Edit SAMPLE; refer to page 37.

As soon as the pH value has been accepted, the following
display will appear:
The result is automatically stored in the GLP table.
Once the result has been accepted, it will be automatically
printed out if a printer is connected. In addition to the pH value,
the display and printout will show a continuously incremented
sample number and the measured or adjusted sample
temperature.

Press the
key to start a new pH AUTOREAD measurement.
Press the pH/mV key to change to the live display, if desired.
