4 HYGIENIC RE-USE
4.1 General
Adhere strictly to the following cycles:
– Single patient use / at home:
Clean all components of the VORTEX
application.
Disinfect all components of the VORTEX
day.
If the patient suffers from an infectious disease or is in a high
risk group (e.g., patients with cystic fibrosis), ask your doctor
or pharmacist about additional recommended hygiene
procedures.
– Before every change of patients / in the hospital:
Clean, disinfect and sterilise all components of the

VORTEX
immediately after each use.
CAUTION
Ensure that the components are allowed to dry sufficiently after
each processing step. Condensation or residual wetness can
present an increased risk through the growth of bacteria.
4.2 Processing limits
When used at home, the VORTEX
times as described in section 4.4.
In the hospital, the VORTEX
use up to 30 times as described in section 4.5.
Regardless of where it is used, the VORTEX
