4.3 Preparation

• Pull the tracheal adapter off the mouthpiece.
Leave the mouthpiece on the VORTEX
• Take off the connecting ring.

4.4 Cleaning and disinfection at home

Cleaning
• Thoroughly clean all components in warm tap water and dish-
washing liquid for about 5 minutes. If necessary, use a clean
brush to remove loose dirt (the brush must be reserved exclu-
sively for this purpose).
• Rinse all parts thoroughly under warm running water.
• Check that the valve (2a) is seated correctly:
• You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all
parts.

back into its original
position, and then
shake to remove
excess water.
