or disinfecting medical products made from the materials
described in section "Material information" (page 28). Bear in
mind the manufacturer's dosing information and instructions for
safe handling of chemicals.
Mechanical cleaning and disinfection
Equipment:
– Cleaning and disinfection device in conformance with
DIN EN ISO 15883
– Cleaning agent
– Neutralising agent if necessary
Conducting:
• Place all individual VORTEX
parts so as to ensure that they
are cleaned most effectively.
The inhalation chamber must be
in the vertical position.
• Select the 93°C programme (treatment time 5 minutes).
Use only a pH-neutral cleaning agent and follow the manufac-
turer's dosing instructions.
In rare cases, cleaning in the instrument dishwasher can
cause the aluminium to become discoloured. This is not
significant and will not impair the function of the
VORTEX
®
.
