Attention!
Improper environmental conditions may cause damage to machine.
• If the operating temperature exceeds the threshold temperature, the machine's setup
room must be air-conditioned to avoid shutdown of electrical components.
• The proprietor is obligated to setup a properly dimensioned ventilation system at the
setup site for sawing of glass fibre-reinforced plastics (GFP) or similar dusty work ma-
terials; in case of non-compliance, resulting machine damage is not covered under the
guarantee.

These are the machine dimensions. The distances the surroundings are largely dependent on
the length and size of the workpieces to be processed.

Setting up the machine
Warning!
Crushing hazard for arms and legs during transport and machine setup!
• Only authorised persons may carry out the in-company transport and setup of the
machine (see Chap. 2.5) according to valid APR.
• Also ensure that no persons are in the transportation path or in the setup area
and wear safety shoes with toe-protection caps.
Transport the BS 450 to the setup location (see Chap. 5.3). During setup pay attention to the
required horizontal and vertical spacing (see Chap. 6.3 ). This depends on the size and
length of the workpieces to be processed.
Lift the BS 450 with a suitable transportation device.
Remove the pallet.
Slowly place the BS 450 on the ground until it fully rests on the screw feet.
Horizontally align the machine frame lengthwise and across with a water level. The slope of
the machine frame can be adjusted by screwing the machine feet in or out.
Ensure that all screw feet are resting fully on the ground.
Secure the screw feet with the fitted locknut. This concludes machine setup.
