How to row

1. Begin to exercise by comfortably stroking forward while holding your feet on the footplates. Keep
your arms and back straight.
2. Begin to pull your arms back as they pass over your knees. Continue the stroke backwards until
you are in a slightly backward position.
3. Return to the starting position and repeat.

How often?

Begin with a 5-minute-workout session once a day and try to reach 2:30 to 2:45 minutes for 500m dis-
tance. Row at a pace that keeps the water circulating continu-ously between your strokes.
Add a few minutes more each day until you are comfortable with 30-45 minutes ex-ercise time for each
session (at least 3 or 4 times a week).
This way of exercising will improve your aerobic endurance, the muscle toning and calorie burnings. It
may support a weight loss program effectively.
Caution: Always consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.
Stop immediately if you feel faint or dizzy!
