TROUBLESHOOTING

Fault
Water changes color
or becomes cloudy.
Rower belt slipping
off belt/ bungee
pulley.
Front of rower lifts
slightly during
rowing.
The computer does
not illuminate after
battery installation.
Computer display
illuminates, but does
not react when row-
ing.

Probable cause
Rower is placed in direct sun-
light or water has not had water
treatment.
Bungee cord does not have
enough tension.
M10X180mm vertical frame
tensioning bolt is too loose.
Batteries installed incorrectly or
need to be replaced.
Loose or failed connection.
Solution
Change rower location to avoid direct
exposure to sunlight. Add water treatment
tablet, blue liquid or change tank water as
directed in the water treatment section of
this manual. Consider using distilled water
to refill tank.
Tighten bungee cord according to the in-
structions in „Replacing the bungee cord"
section of this manual.
Tighten bolt 1/2 turn and try again. Repeat
this procedure until the problem is solved.
Note: Over-tightening this bolt can da-
mage the seat rail. Only tighten bolt until
middle leg begins to lift slightly from the
ground. Refer to "Fine-tuning your rower"
for details.
Reinstall batteries in correct po-sition and
try again. If the LCD screen fails to illumi-
nate, replace batteries. If this cannot solve
the problem, contact your local service
center.
Check that the computer lead is connec-
ted properly. If it is connected and compu-
ter still does not react, contact your local
service center.
