The tool
Table, bevel slide miter saw GFO 1801
High quality, solid saw for carpenter, bevel and miter
work.
Equipment (serial):
Saw blade smoothly tilts thanks to fastening lever. Turntable
with raster, dust sucking unit, saw blade guard, sack for
collected dust, folding legs with minimum space demand,
including parallel and bevel ruler.
Area of use:
Ideal for building sites and for interior do ups.

Guarantee
The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material
defect or manufacturing defect.
Original payment voucher with the sales date needs to be
submitted for any claim in the guarantee period.
The guarantee does not cover any unauthorised use such as
appliance overloading, use of violence, damage as a result of
any unauthorised interference or caused by foreign items.
Failing to follow the operating and assembly instructions and
common wear are also not included in the guarantee.
Overall safety rules
Read the instruction manual prior to running this tool. If any
doubts while turning on or operating this tool, contact the
manufacturer (Service center).
To achieve high safety level, observe carefully following
instructions:
Attention: operate with FI (PRCD) only. (protective
switch against fault current)!
Attention!
Keep the workplace clean and tidy. Disorder on the
workplace increases danger of an accident and injury.
Watch surrounding conditions you are working in.
Never use electric devices and cutting tools in damp and
wet environment. Ensure proper lighting. Don't expose
electric devices to rain or to environment with high
humidity. Don't turn on the electric devices in
environment rich in flammable liquids or gases.
Keep unauthorized persons out. Visitors, children in
the first place and sick and feeble people should not
have access to the workplace.
Ensure that tools are stored properly. Tools not in use
should be kept in dry and elevated place if possible, with
restricted access.
For each job use appropriate tools. Don't use e.g.
light tools for a job that needs heavy ones. Use the tool
for a purpose that it was designed for. Keep your tools
clean and properly sharp.
Use adequate apparel. Don't wear loose clothes or
pendants, which may get caught in. If working outdoor
we recommend working gloves and nonslip footwear.
Long hair need to be covered properly.
Use personal safety gear. Always wear safety goggles
and ear plugs. Also respirator is needed. While working
with sharp blades and saw blades, tight gloves are
necessary.
Use dust sucking unit. It is available, but needs to be
plugged in correctly. Take care that dust and sawdust is
going away from you or people nearby.
Take care of power cord. Don't pull it. While plugging it
out of the receptacle, pull on the head. Don't put the cord
close to heat sources. Keep it out from oil and sharp
edges.
Tight up the workpiece properly. Use appropriate
clamps, clips, etc. It is always safer then using your
hand. Besides you will have your hands free to work.
Ensure proper footing and not loosing the balance.
Don't overreach too much forward or sideway.
Remove adjusting key, etc. All keys needed for
adjusting must be removed from the tool before you turn
it on.
Avoid unintentional starting. Always confirm that the
switch is in the OFF position when plugging in the tool..
To work outdoor use special extension cables, be
sure it is appropriate for this purpose and properly
marked.
Be aware. Watch out what you are doing. Use common
sense. Never use power tools if tired.
Always check for damaged parts before use. In case
of light damage think seriously if the tool will work
properly and safely in such condition. Check all moving
parts for proper alignment. Do they match? Are the parts
damaged? Are they mounted together properly? Are all
requirements met, to run it perfectly? Repair or replace
all damaged guards, if not stated otherwise in the
instruction manual. Damaged switch must be replaced in
a specialized workshop. Never use the tool if it cannot
be turned on and off by proper switch. If the table insert
is worn out, replace it. If you find any defect on the tool
(including safety guards and saw blade) contact local
Service center.
To reduce risk of electric shock, don't touch any
grounded objects with your body, e.g. water piping,
radiators, cookers and fridges.
When servicing or maintaining the tool, use only
authorized replacement parts. Get the replacement
parts from authorized Service center
Never use accessories that are not recommended in
the instruction manual. It can lead to personal injury
and property damage.
Always use feeding adapter for the workpiece.
The appliance meets EN 61000-3-11 requirements and is
subject to special connection conditions. That means that
use on optionally selected connection points is
inadmissible.
The appliance can lead to occasional voltage fluctuations
under unfavourable power conditions.
The appliance is only designated to be used for
connection points not exceeding the maximum allowed
impedance of Z
As a user, you must make sure your connection point on which
you want to use the appliance meets the above-mentioned
requirements – after agreement with your electricity supplier if
necessary.
Safety instructions for the first start up.
Plug the cord out of receptacle before the adjustment or
maintenance.
Rotating blade can cause bodily harm; it can cut off
your fingers.
Never operate the tool without saw blade guard.
