7. WARNINGS AGAINST HAZARDOUS OPERATIONS

Warnings against hazardous operations have been described in the preceding sections, however,
we would draw your attention to certain operations which are dangerous:
• DO NOT USE the Blocmat
have their own protection equipment.

• DO NOT ANCHOR the Blocmat
• DO NOT ANCHOR the Blocmat
• NEVER USE the wire rope as a sling on the load.
• NEVER USE an anchor point to the load having a resistance inferior to the value given in § 2.
• NEVER USE a hook which is not the one supplied with the Blocmat
• NEVER USE a hook the safety catch of which is damaged or missing.
• NEVER USE a wire rope which is not the one supplied with the Blocmat
• NEVER USE the Blocmat
• NEVER USE the Blocmat

8. LABELLING

Every Blocmat is delivered with a label indicating:
™
• The type and the code number.
• The Working Load Limit.
• The maxi length of the wire rope.
• The serial number and the year of manufacture.
• The name and the adress of the manufacturer.
™ load arrestor as a fall arrest equipment for people. Those peopleshould
™ above its Working Load Limit.
™ for any other application than the Load fall arrest.
to a structure having a resistance inferior to the value given in § 2.

™ with a connecting part other than the one supplied with the device.
™ with a wire rope which is damaged or worn.
™ with the position lever which has been forced to "open" position.
