During use
WARNING

Make sure that the facepiece is airtight before reporting for
duty, otherwise there is danger of serious injury or death due
to exposure to smoke, chemicals, or other harmful
substances, including but not limited to poisoning.
When the facepiece is used with a canister,
the ambient air must contain at least 19.5 % of oxygen;
observe country-specific regulations.

Low temperatures
Use facepieces with a PCaf visor or use "klar-pilot" anti-fog agent to
prevent fogging of the visor.
High temperatures/Thermal cycling

Leave the danger zone immediately if there are any signs of
damage, e.g., bubbles in the visor.
The coating may dissolve in some places on visors marked with PCas
and PCaf. The facepiece is fully serviceable until the end of the
operation. Replace visor after use.
Chemicals
Some substances may be absorbed by the material of the facepiece
body or may possibly diffuse into it. Further information can be
obtained from Dräger.
