1. SC-380 panel setting
Change the setting of the program mode below so as to operate the short stitch device.
*
For the basic operating procedure of the SC-380 panel, refer to the Instruction Manual for SC-380.
1) Change the setting of "KTM" and "KDM" of K mode from [OFF] to [ON].
The setting of the short stitch becomes the setting of the tacking stitch with the setting above, and it is possible to set the
number of stitches at the normal pitch after the short stitch.
2) By setting the mode of the aforementioned 1), the setting of the short stitch [L2-99] changes to the setting of the tacking
stitch [6-4-4].

1 Change the mode to K mode.
Select with

+ [A] + [C].
2 Display the setting of KTM and KDM.
a. Change the setting of KTM from [OFF]
to [ON].
b. Similarly, change the setting of KDM
from [OFF] to [ON].
3 Determine the setting and return to the
normal mode.
Select with

1 Set the short stitch operation at the end
to N stop.
Change from [6-4-4] to [6-4-2] with [D] key.
2 Make the short stitch operation at the
end effective.
Change from [6-4-2] to [6-402] with [C] key.
3 Change the number of stitches to the
number you desire.
Select with
+ [A] to [D] keys.
The setting of [C] is the short stitch, and
the setting of [D] is the number of
stitches of the normal pitch after the
short stitch.
Commendable set value : C | 5 to 10
4 Determine the setting.
