TH E PO R TAF IL TER AN D THE BREWING HEAD
Regularly let hot water run through the brewing group with the portafilter in-
●
serted, but empty (with inserted filter, but without ground coffee). This will flush
potential coffee powder remains from the brewing group.
Wash the portafilter and the filter inserts separately and by hand in warm dishwa-
●
ter and rinse everything under running water. Dry well afterwards.
Every 2 months the brewing head should be screwed off the appliance and
●
cleaned under fresh water with a dishscrubber.
We recommend periodically cleaning the brewing head, the portafilter and the
●
filter inserts with SOLITABS to remove coffee grease and other residues (approx.
every month, at least after 250 cups). For the exact process, please refer to the
instructions included with SOLITABS.
