WARNING!
Keep children and animals away from
plastic bags and fi lms. There is a dan-

An LP gas cylinder is required (see the
"Technical Data" chapter). It is not sup-
plied with the device.
1. Check the items supplied for com-
pleteness and transport damage. If
you fi nd any damage, do not use the
device (!), but rather contact the cus-
tomer service department.
2. Remove any possible fi lms, stickers or
transport protection from the device.
Never remove the rating plate and
any possible warnings!

threads on the bottom of the grill (see
Illustration A).
4. Place the control knob (1) on the axis
(see Illustration B).
5. Insert the battery into the battery com-

Setting Up the Grill

When you choose the installation site,
follow the safety notices in these
operating instructions.
Place the grill outdoors on a stable
and heat-resistant work surface (e.g.
a stone slab). Ensure that there is
suffi cient clear space at all sides, es-
pecially towards the grill chamber (10).
Set up the grill so that it is protected
from the wind so that the fl ame cannot
be blown out or impeded by the wind,
which may lead to inferior grill results.
Connecting the Gas
Cylinder
PLEASE NOTE!
Only ever use propane or butane gas
or a mixture of the two gases in gas
cylinders with a maximum fi lling weight
of 15 kg (see the "Technical Data"
chapter).
The gas hose may be no longer than
1.5 m.
Use a different gas hose if local regu-
lations prescribe this.
You may only ever use offi cially ap-
proved hoses and pressure regulators.
The area around the gas cylinder must
be freely accessible and free of any
objects.
Ensure prior to connection that the
valve of the gas cylinder is closed.
Any replacement of the gas cylinder
must be carried out well away from
any ignition source.
After the grill has been set up (see above),
connect the gas cylinder as follows:
1. Screw one end of the gas hose (3)
securely to the pressure reducer (4),
and the other end securely to the gas
connection (15) of the grill. Note that
the screw connections have left-hand
threads.
