4. OPERATION

4.1 Before operation

Before starting the machine, carry out a general safety check:
1. Check if the machine is clear of all objects, all switches are off and any danger area
is clear of bystanders.
2. Area must be clean and free from obstructions, e.g. nothing placed on the rear plate.
3.
Check or place the electrical cord in the appropriate socket and turn power 'On'.
4.2 Operating the Slicer
At the start of the day, unlock the stop button to switch the machine on.
See the above drawings on how to use the machine.
1.
Pull the lever to bring up the pusher (to open the top safety cover in option).
2.
Put your loaf on the rear tray, between the blades and the pusher.
3. Gradually release the lever. Control the pressure on the bread by holding or pushing
the lever according to the type of bread.
4. Take out the sliced bread for packing.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning. Ensure the machine is isolated from the power supply before
commencing cleaning or maintenance.
Caution. This unit is not water proof. Do not use water jet spray to clean
interior or exterior of this unit.

5.1 Daily cleaning

To be done by a trained employee.
1.
Empty the crumb collector
2. Use a damp cloth for external cleaning
3.
Use a soft brush to clean the blades.
5.2 Every 25000 cuts or at least 1 time a year
To be done by an authorised agent:
1.
Isolate the machine
2.
Replace the blades. Do not over tighten the blades because there is a risk of defor-
ming the frame.
3.
Clean with a brush and vacuum the inside of the machine.
4.
Check the state of the bearings
