Possible cause / solution
•
Is the device connected to the adapter correctly and is the
mains plug pushed all the way into the plug socket?
•
Is the plug socket defective? Try a different socket and
check the fuse of your mains connection.
•
Is the water reservoir empty? Refi ll it.
•
The device has not yet reached the operating tempera-
ture. Wait until the temperature control lamp goes out.
•
Is the temperature control on a low temperature setting?
Select a higher temperature setting.
•
Is the steam quantity control in position 0? Activate the
steam production.
•
Press the
steam burst button 2 to 3 times to start the
production of steam.
•
If you have set a high temperature, the steam which is
generated is dry and almost invisible. This is exacerbated
by a high ambient temperature. Switch the temperature
control to a lower temperature to check whether the device
is producing steam.
•
Is the water reservoir overfi lled? Pour away some water
(see the "After Use" section).
•
Is the temperature control on a low temperature setting?
Select a higher temperature setting so that steam can be
generated.
•
You might notice a slight odour caused by production re-
sidues the fi rst time you use the device. However, this is
harmless and will cease as you use the device.
