Ironing
CAUTION!
■
Please note that synthetic fi bres, nylon and silk are not ironed with steam. The tex-
tiles may be damaged!
■
Never press the steam burst button for longer than 5 seconds without stopping to
prevent water from running out of the bottom of the iron.
■
Make sure that there is a suffi cient amount of water in the water reservoir if you want
to use the steam burst button.
■
Never aim the steam directly at people, animals or plants. This can cause severe
scalding.
1. For steam-ironing or spray function, fi ll the water reservoir with water (see the „Filling
the Water Reservoir" section). If you only want to dry-iron, there is no need for this.
2. Move the temperature control, to the medium (••) to maximum temperature. Steam-
ironing is possible in this range (Please note the care label of the item to be ironed
states).
3. Once the device has reached the set temperature, the temperature control lamp goes
out.
4. For steam-ironing slide the steam quantity control, depending on the quantity of
steam you want, to the desired position (0 – max). To dry-iron, leave it in position 0
(no steam). You can now start ironing.
5. If you want to iron with a connected mains cable, take the iron with the adapter and
move the bottom of the iron (8) back and forth on the fabric until it is smooth. Use the
device like a conventional iron.
To iron cordlessly, press both release buttons (4) on the adapter and take the iron
off the adapter. Place the iron on the adapter to heat up at regular intervals (approx.
2 to 6 minutes). The intervals are slightly longer with dry-ironing than they are with
steam-ironing.
6. When the water reservoir is empty, steam will no longer be produced. Follow the
instructions in the "Filling the Water Reservoir" section to top it up again.

or on an even, stable, heat-resistant and moisture-resist-
ant surface.
