1. PRODUCT PRESENTATION

1.1 Principal characteristics

Heat Pumps EQ 2018 and EQ 3018 ES pick up heat from the ambient air
and transmit it to the water present inside the tank, reducing energy costs
for heating hot water which translates into a large cost savings of up to
70% compared to traditional electric water heaters.
In addition, the Eco Hot Water heat pump in the FEBOS HP configuration
can be monitored and controlled remotely via smartphone/tablet; the
app is free andd is downloadable from Apple Store and Google Play.

1.2 Construction characteristics

Model EQ 2018
• Capacity 200 litres
• Steel S235 JR boiler with internal processing of inorganic enamel
Model EQ 3018 ES
• Capacity 300 litres
• Boiler in stainless steel AISI 316-L with internal pickling treatment.
• Solar heat exchanger surface of 1m
Both models:
• Thick layer of insulation in rigid expanded polyurethane (PU), free of
CFCs and HCFCs, average thickness 50 mm.
• Anti-corrosion electronic anode (2 on model EQ 3018 ES)
• Outer coating in painted steel with epoxy powders (silver grey colour).
• Backlit touch screen control panel for setting various operating para-
meters of the unit over a 24 hour period.
• Hydraulic fittings positioned on the left hand side
• Integrated electrical resistance of 1.5 kW 230V ~.
Can be activated manually through the control panel or automatically
with integration of the heat pump or with the heat treatment of dome-
stic hot water.
• Environmentally friendly refrigerant fluid R134a
• Rotary compressor for maximum quietness during operation
• Centrifugal Fan
• Condenser wound around the boiler (not immersed in water).

1.3 Ease of Installation and Maintenance

Heat pump stands EQ 2018 and EQ 3018 ES are square shaped and are
easy to install due to the small space required for them.
Simply connect the electrical plug and the hydraulic connections which
are all on the same side. By removing the front panel you have access to
the refrigertion circuit, the anodes and heating element
